XSL Publisher: Task data values in filenames

Grouping XSL output files by values in task data

Added in AssetTrack Server 4.10.1.1

The custom filename configuration within the XSL Handler now supports adding XPath string value extraction to customize the output files to group by any criteria the task data contains. This is done by enclosing an XPath expression that resolves to a string value within curly braces within the filename property on the XSL Handler in the form designer.

Attached are examples of task data, any data they contain can be extracted.

Examples

A file per collecting user
Inventory_{string(//CollectionContext/@UserId)}

A file per custom field value
TID#{string(//CustomField[@Name="TransitionID"]/@Value)}

A file per PO number
PO#{string(//PurchaseOrder/@Number)}

A file per PO + POLI
PO#{string(//PurchaseOrder/@Number)}.{string(//PurchaseOrderLineItem/@LineItemNumber)}

A file per bulk collection event
BatchID_{string(//CollectionContext/@TransactionId)}

A file per calender day (UTC)
Collected_{string(//CollectionContext/@DateCollected_UtcCultureDate)}
