AssetTrack and Compatibility Mode for Internet Explorer

The AssetTrack website (the AssetTrack web application, not to be confused with our new ATClient in v4) requires certain features that are only available when running newer versions of Internet Explorer in compatibility mode. Without it, the site will have unresponsive tools along with odd formatting. We recommend leaving AssetTrack web in compatibility mode at all times in order to have all the functionality within the software.

Turn on Compatibility Mode

Result: Internet Explorer displays the menu bar: File, Edit, View, Favorites, Tools...
  3. Click the Tools menu, and then click on Compatibility View to enable it.

Alternatively, Using the Compatibility View icon

If your Internet Explorer is set up to display the compatibility view icon, this is an alternative way to add AssetTrack to the list of compatibility sites.

  1. Navigate in Internet Explorer to the AssetTrack site.
  2. Turn on Compatibility Mode: Next to the address bar, click/tap on the unhighlighted Compatibility View icon. (See screenshot below)
Result: The webpage will reload with Compatibility View turned on.
