Track Assets

Know where your assets are and who's using them.

AssetTrack is a highly customizable solution. You can design and create forms to customize your asset management activities. This page shows a few common forms and scenarios for tracking assets.


 

 Check-Out

As an asset manager or clerk, I want to check-out assets to a user, for them to perform their job function

  1. Open AssetTrack Mobile or Web
  2. Select the menu icon  to see available forms
  3. Select the Check-Out form
  4. Scan or input existing asset tag OR vendor barcode (serial number) values
    1) You can specify multiple assets
    2) Observe the asset list populated with the specified assets
  5. Specify desired or required values for the form fields
    All specified assets will be assigned the these values
  6. Select the save icon Upload.png to save your work

 

 Check-In

As an asset manager or clerk, I want to check-in assets, to make them available for future users (thus, returning them to inventory)

  1. Open AssetTrack Mobile or Web
  2. Select the menu icon  to see available forms
  3. Select the Check-In form
  4. Scan or input existing asset tag OR vendor barcode (serial number) values
    1) You can specify multiple assets
    2) Observe the asset list populated with the specified assets
  5. Specify desired or required values for the form fields
    All specified assets will be assigned the these values
  6. Select the save icon Upload.png to save your work

 

 Move

As an asset manager or clerk, I want to move assets, to reassign them to new users and/or locations

  1. Open AssetTrack Mobile or Web
  2. Select the menu icon  to see available forms
  3. Select the Move form
  4. Scan or input existing asset tag OR vendor barcode (serial number) values
    1) You can specify multiple assets
    2) Observe the asset list populated with the specified assets
  5. Specify desired or required values for the form fields
    All specified assets will be assigned the these values
  6. Select the save icon Upload.png to save your work
